It is a government service offered by ADSSA as part of the Emirati Family Growth Support Program and in alignment with Abu Dhabi’s strategy for enhancing family quality of life. Through this service, employed Emirati citizens who are holders of the Abu Dhabi Emirate's Family Book and are preparing for marriage can apply for a marriage loan of up to AED 150,000 with no interest or fees. The service aims to help citizens start a stable married life. 


Application Terms: 

• Both spouses must be UAE Nationals. 
• The husband must be an Abu Dhabi Emirate Family Book holder. 
• The Marriage must be following the Medeem Marriage Model.
• The applicant must not have been married before, except for widows.
• The husband must be at least 21 years old, and the wife must be at least 18 years old at the time of signing the marriage contract.
• The application must be submitted by the husband only, within 6 months from the date of the marriage contract.
• The total monthly Salary of the husband must be less than AED 60,000 after deducting pension contributions, at the time of submitting the application.
• The husband must have creditworthiness in accordance with the lending policy of banks operating in the country.
• The advance entitlement is for one time only.

Required Documents:

• A valid marriage contract
• A certified salary certificate
• Confirmation of receiving a marriage grant (email) or "To Whom it May Concern" Certificate regarding marriage grant from the Ministry of Community Development
