The Abu Dhabi Social Support Authority disbursed payments to families benefiting from the Abu Dhabi Social Support Program this week instead of at the beginning of next month.

Abu Dhabi Social Support Authority disburses payments to beneficiary families during the current week.

Beneficiaries include 4,200 families within the Social Support Program.

As part of its efforts to provide a decent life for low-income Emirati families living in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and in view of the approaching month of Ramadan and exceptional current circumstances, the Abu Dhabi Social Support Authority will disburse payments to families benefiting from the social support program during the current week instead the at the beginning of next month.

On this occasion, His Excellency Abdulla Humaid Al Ameri, Acting Director General of the Abu Dhabi Social Support Authority, said: “In order to support families benefiting from the social support program and to enable them to meet their needs before the holy month of Ramadan, payments will be disbursed as of Tuesday, April 21. On the occasion of the holy month, His Excellency extended his best wishes and blessings to the wise leadership, asking God to bless the UAE, its leadership, and people with many happy returns of the month.”

The Authority’s outstanding efforts under the current circumstances are reflected in the number of families benefiting from financial support. The Authority confirms that, during this exceptional situation, citizens in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi can submit requests for support electronically through the Authority’s website and Smart Pass feature. The Authority will review the request to ensure that all conditions have been met and respond to the applicant as soon as possible.

It should be noted that the authority has recently activated, as part of its measures to preserve the health and safety of beneficiaries, the electronic payment feature for the beneficiaries' cards, which enables them to secure their basic needs without having to leave their homes.
